Artist's Comments

This was done for an M&;P class I took last semester. The project was to reverse engineer a product and examine with what and by what means it was made. Instead of pasting the parts up on a board and lableing them, I thought this was a better way to present this particular product. It also has a nice sculptural appeal, I feel.

D'ya actually yank apart an old N64 controller for this? I like it a lot! :)

That's awesome. o_o The creativity of it is the best part, but I can just imagine Shigeru Miyamoto keeping this on his mantlepiece.

Great job. :]

at some point I'd like to do a series... I did this one in about an hour, but if I were to perfect the process and make bases for them and stuff, I think it would be cool. I'd be cool to have an NES SNES maybe some Sega controllers in there, you know. And not just controllers either.. anything that has popculture value might be worth exploring this way.

If you manage to get an iPod... (2 of mine have gone bust in the past 2-3 months. >_>;) then that'd be a really interesting one to do.

Or take a challenge, and try some musical instruments, though that would run high as far as price goes...Although a sax or clarinet done in this way would be cool.

This is so beautiful. The N64 got a lot of shit in its day but a good portion of my favorite games of all time were on there. I miss Goldeneye so much *sniffle*

:-0 Awesome Long live the N64. That was very creative btw, very well done.
