A pair of shoes I painted as a birthday present for a friend.
The characters (for those of you who have been living under a rock for the past 20 years) are from a variety of Nintendo video games (or just one particular game ;) ).
I used screen printing ink.

If you don't mind me asking, does the colour hold if the shoes get wet? (I'd like to try painting some shoes for myself, but living in Scotland I have to factor rain into the equation ._.)

these shoes are amazing!
ive always thought of pianting a pair of shoes.
i dunno why i dont.
did you seal them with anything, or is the paint itself waterproof?

I use a water proofing spray that you can pick up in any shoe store... but the ink is completely water proof so its just kind of a precaution... don't think its even necessary.
