This is a little piece I did last semester for a Woodworking elective. The assignment was to build a table or reliquary, and I had had the idea of doing something to hold a Gamecube for a while. The concept is sort of a throwback to the days when consumer electronics, such as turntables and phonographs, were housed in huge chest-like cabinets.
It is made entirely out of ash, using mortise-and-tenon joints. It is fully functional and currently holds my Gamecube, making a nice addition to the other maple furniture in my apartment.
Nice and neat. Ideal if you don't like the space-age black and silver theme the system has going on...Very stylish.
I loike it.

Excellent design. Just amazingly done. If I had the space for one of these and say, some blueprints, it'd be something I would love to have in my room, right next to my gaming drawer stuffed with Nintendo games.
I'm a little interested if the system can stay cool in there? I notice you have cooling holes in the wood, but is that enough to keep it fully cool? I'm only asking, cause my cube seems to get quite hot when i have ANYTHING around it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
